Long walk in the sunshine

Day 4  - 20/04/18  Tarn Hows

Today we went for a long walk around Tarn Hows. It was a lovely sunny day again & it was a really pretty walk.  There were some lovely views and I met lots of other dogs and got on well with all of them!  It was such a fun time!






At one point mummy got really excited as she spotted something called an owl in a tree.  Apparently she really likes owls - but not as much as me I hope!!



Mummy tried to show me a heron in a tree, but it was too far away for me to see.  It's a good job mummy has a long lens on her camera!


It was such a lovely walk, & I was quite happy until we got back to the car park & a woman stood on my paw & made a black mark!!  I really yelped!  I was not happy!

We then went on to a place called Grassmere.  It was really hot by now, but once again it was a very pretty place.


We had a lovely walk around the village.  We saw the grave of someone called William Wordsworth.  Mummy & daddy said he was very famous, but I've never heard of him, mind you I'm only 6 months old, so there's no wonder really!!


I had a cuddle with daddy, cos I was getting really tired by now!


It was another really fab day!  I really like this holiday lark!

Day 2 of the Holiday

18/04/18 - Day 2 Today was a bit wet & grizzly, but we still went out.  We went to Grizedale Forest.  It was a lovely place,  & I really enjoyed it. This was a funny scary thing! I did quite a bit of the walk, but after yesterday I was really tired & daddy had to carry me back.  I did try & walk a bit, but I just couldn't.  Mummy & daddy let me sleep in the afternoon & went to the cinema in Ambleside.  They said they went to see The Greatest Showman & that it was brilliant.  I think if I had gone with them I would have fallen asleep there too.! It ended up being a nice restful day for me.  Good job cos tomorrow I think may be a little more active!!

My first boat trip

Day 3 - 19/04/18 -Coniston The sun has come out!! yeehaa!  It's such a lovely place in the sunshine.  This is where we are staying, ours is the room furthest away. Mummy & Daddy go here for their breakfast, but I'm not allowed! It's such a pretty place in the sunshine After breakfast we headed off to a place called Coniston.  I met these strange creatures called ducks! I was very good & didn't bark at them, but I did wonder what on earth they were!  We then went on a boat trip!  I wondered what on earth was happening, but I quite enjoyed it.  So much so I fell asleep for most of it! There was this really strange creature flew past at one point.  He was white like me, but much bigger, mummy said it was a swan. We got off the boat after about 3/4 hour, but I quite enjoyed it. We're off on holiday

Day 1 17/04/18 Hi  Nacho here. Well Mummy & daddy say we're going on something called a holiday.  Today we're heading for the Lake District and a place called Ambleside. They made me have a bath for the holidays - how cruel is that? How embarrassing is this?  I look a right scruff ball!!! I watched out Anyway back to the holiday.  It was quite a long journey, well I felt it was.  I was a bit fidgety to start with, but I fell asleep eventually. We went to a place called Ambleside, it was very wet!  Mummy & daddy needed some lunch, so they found a pub I could go into.  I was very popular, the bar staff brought me some biscuits!!  I only wee'd a little bit on the floor!!! Daddy had to carry me back to the car as it was so wet!  I didn't mind!
